Taqeef launches Fujitsu General's VRF AirstageV-III Tropical Series
Regional leader in air-conditioning solutions, Taqeef recently launched the VRF V-III tropical series from Fujitsu General at the Raffles Hotel, in Dubai, UAE. Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) is a revolutionary refrigerant-based technology that effectively air conditions a wide variety of spaces from large buildings to personal residences. The latest in VRF technology from Fujitsu General, the V-III tropical series, offers several advantages over the conventional HVAC system, such as high performance, minimized energy loss, design flexibility, easy installation and centralized maintenance. Fujitsu General is also well known for its knowledge and understanding of the regional climate and environment. They are the first and only manufacturer to introduce a full portfolio of products, which not only comply with the latest Green building regulations for EER and environmentally friendly refrigerant (R410A), but are also tailored specifically to our region’s harsh climate. Focused on providing either high performance combinations or space saving ones, the Air stage V-III Tropical Model offers an extended line up of outdoor units, ranging from small systems of 8HP for limited residential and commercial spaces, to large systems of 54 HP for cooling large building areas. With the flexibility to assemble in 39 system combinations, the V-III series can connect up to 55 indoor units, which can be selected from 12 types and 84 models. Design capabilities allow a total pipe length of up to 1000 metres and actual pipe length (length between outdoor unit to the furthest indoor unit) 165 metres, and outdoor units can be installed in open areas or an indoor room with open ducting facility, thereby saving valuable building space. Energy savings is another central feature of the V-III series with fully DC inverter based technology, highly efficient refrigerant flow control mechanism and sophisticated operational control systems. Fujitsu General’s Intelligent Web Monitoring tool also provides cutting edge centralized monitoring and maintenance capabilities with a graphical interface displaying the operational status of different components within the V-III system. “At Taqeef, we strive to bring the latest in air-conditioning technology to our customers in the region. While it has been a long wait for the V-III tropical series, we believe that innovative excellence cannot be rushed. Today, we are launching an exceptional air-conditioning solution based on Fujitsu General’s unique technical capabilities and our extensive research and testing exercises over the last two years – the Air stage V-III tropical series. We are confident that the VRF system lineup will exceed regional customer expectations by providing important competitive advantages, such as energy efficiency, design flexibility and high reliability, resulting in a clear, comparable return on investment while being compliant with UAE’s ESMA and QCC regulations,” said Tariq Al Ghussein, CEO of Taqeef. “We have also built our own training and development centre to support this product launch. At this purpose built site, we run a rolling program of VRF product, technology and servicing training. This promotes the ongoing development of our staff, customers and contractors who would benefit from the latest industry knowledge. So, I can confidently tell you that technical support for the V-III from Taqeef and the Fujitsu General team here on the ground, in the UAE - is second-to-none,” he added. Taqeef has been defining the Air Conditioning market since its inception in 1972, when it introduced the world’s first cooling application especially designed for desert conditions to the region. “I am delighted to visit the region for the launch of our latest VRF product, the V-III tropical model. We were quite early to the Middle East market in 1970, and have worked with our partner, Taqeef, since then to provide quality, innovative solutions starting from the first tropical model. This model was designed to endure the Middle East’s severe climate challenges, and established our position as a trusted brand and the preferred choice in the Middle East’s air conditioning market. With the V-III tropical series, we look forward to answering the cost saving and reliability needs of the commercial sector and we have adapted some of our special specs, especially for the region. Through our commitment and innovation we are confident this new VRF will become the most trusted and well-regarded air conditioner for the commercial market,” said Esturo Saito, President, Fujitsu General Limited.
